Is Invisalign right for me?
Invisalign corrects teeth that are crooked, crowded, overlapping or spaced apart, for kids, teens and adults. Wire braces may still be better for very severe cases. Dr. Haywood will tell you which is best.
Caring for your aligners
Take your aligners out to eat and drink. Brush your teeth before you put them back. Clean the aligners each morning and night, and soak them once a day.

Dr. Haywood checks your teeth and bite. If Invisalign is right for you, 3D images are taken and you see your planned result.
Wear your aligners
You wear each set of clear aligners for one to three weeks, then move on to the next. Each set shifts your teeth a little.
Your new smile
Most treatment takes 12 to 18 months, and some takes as little as six months.

How long does Invisalign take?

Is Invisalign as good as braces?
For most people, yes. Braces are usually better for very crooked teeth or severe bite problems. Dr. Haywood will tell you which is best for you.
Can I pay for Invisalign monthly?
Yes. After a down payment, you can make monthly payments to our office. Payment plans through CareCredit and Cherry are also available.
What can I eat and drink with Invisalign?
Anything you like. Take your aligners out for each meal or snack, and brush before you put them back. Take them out for red wine, dark beer, cranberry juice and other dark drinks, which can stain them.
How do I clean my aligners?
Each morning and night, take them out and clean both your teeth and the aligners. Rinse them with water and a little antibacterial soap, using a soft toothbrush. Soak them once a day and rinse before wearing.
Can I switch from braces to Invisalign?
Often, yes, but not for everyone. Dr. Haywood will look at your teeth and tell you if Invisalign is a good fit.
Is Invisalign for teens too?
Yes. Invisalign straightens teeth for kids, teens and adults. The aligners are clear, and they come out to eat and brush.
