Are prepless veneers right for me?
They may suit you if you want to close gaps and spaces, brighten your smile, or strengthen and straighten teeth. Traditional veneers are still needed when there is a lot of old failing dental work or heavy crowding.
Healing and aftercare
There's no recovery time. Porcelain is very strong, so you can enjoy the foods you like. Brush, floss and keep up with your cleanings.
Less drilling, more of your own tooth
Traditional veneers and crowns can remove 50 to 70 percent of a tooth's enamel. Dr. Haywood uses no-prep and minimal-prep veneers, like Lumineers and Durathin, to keep as much of your tooth as possible.

Frequently asked questions
How much do prepless veneers cost?
Fees for veneers in York County average $1,500 to $2,000 per tooth. Contact us for a smile evaluation and your own price. Monthly payment plans are available through CareCredit and Cherry.
Are Lumineers and other prepless veneers permanent?
They don't have to be. Lumineers and our custom CK veneers need less preparation than traditional veneers, and they can often be removed, leaving largely undamaged teeth underneath.
Do no-prep veneers look natural?
Yes. Durathin, Lumineers and our custom CK veneers are made to look like a perfect natural tooth. They blend into your smile and can even add strength to the tooth.
Do veneers ruin your teeth?
No. Traditional, no-prep and Lumineers veneers do not damage your teeth. In some cases, no enamel is removed at all.
Is it common for veneers to come off?
It's unusual. A veneer can loosen if it doesn't fit well or the bonding material is faulty. Our custom CK veneers are guaranteed for 5 years, and most last 20 years or more.
