Now hiring: dental hygienist
We're looking for a licensed dental hygienist to join our Shrewsbury office. Cleanings here are a full 60 minutes, so you have time to do thorough work, check gum health and talk with each patient instead of racing the clock. You'll work alongside Dr. Haywood and a small, close team, with digital X-rays, an intraoral camera and DIAGNOdent to help you explain what you see.
Patients range from children to longtime adult patients, and many come to us for holistic and mercury-free care, so you'll see a wide mix of cases. If that sounds like the kind of hygiene you want to practice, we'd love to talk.

For over three decades, Dr. Haywood has cared for smiles with cosmetic, implant, holistic and family dentistry. Our office is on Main Street in Shrewsbury, just south of York. We listen first, then we treat: every visit starts with a conversation, and appointments are scheduled with room to breathe, so patients are never rushed and the team is never running behind.
Patients see the same familiar faces at every visit, and some of our team have deep roots here. Madi, our Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, was inspired by a grandmother who worked for many years as a hygienist with Dr. Haywood. Scott, our business manager, ran True Value Plus in Shrewsbury for 38 years.
