Southern York Smile Care, the practice of Dr. Steven Haywood, DDS, wants everyone to be able to learn about our Shrewsbury office, request an appointment and get the information they need from this website. We keep working to improve it, and we welcome your feedback.

What we do

• Pages use a clear heading structure, so screen readers can move from section to section.
• Photographs carry text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Links, buttons and form fields can be reached and used with the keyboard alone.
• Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion, and see-through panels turn solid when it asks for reduced transparency.
• Text can be enlarged in your browser without losing content.

Tips for a more accessible visit

If you have trouble seeing web pages

Most browsers let you zoom in and out: hold Ctrl (Command on a Mac) and press + or −. Your computer, tablet or phone also has settings to enlarge text, increase contrast and read pages out loud, and screen reading software can read this website to you.

If you use a keyboard instead of a mouse

Press Tab to move forward through links, buttons and form fields, Shift and Tab to move back, and Enter to follow a link or press a button. Speech recognition software can also move around a web page by voice.

Closed captioning and volume

Closed captioning provides a transcript of a video’s audio, which helps people who are deaf or hard of hearing and anyone in a noisy place. Your device and each media player also have their own volume controls; try adjusting both for the best listening experience.
